Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using CompliSync. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Section 01
Definitions
- "CompliSync" refers to the software-as-a-service product operated by CompliSync and accessible at complisync.io
- "Service" refers to CompliSync and all related features, tools, and documentation
- "Customer," "you," or "your" refers to the individual or organization accessing the Service
- "Subscription" refers to the paid plan you have selected
- "Connected Platforms" refers to Jira, Google Sheets, Monday.com, or other platforms you authorize CompliSync to access
- "Customer Data" refers to all data from your Connected Platforms that is processed by CompliSync
Section 02
Acceptance and Eligibility
By using the Service, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms if using the Service on behalf of an organization
- You have obtained all necessary authorizations to connect your third-party accounts to CompliSync
- Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations
Section 03
Subscription Plans and Billing
3.1 Plans
CompliSync offers subscription tiers described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify plan features with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
3.2 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in Section 3.4
- You authorize CompliSync to charge your payment method on the billing cycle you selected
- Prices are in US Dollars unless otherwise stated
3.3 Free Trial
During the beta period, CompliSync may offer free access to features. We will provide at least 14 days notice before converting any free trial to a paid subscription.
3.4 Refunds
If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase by contacting hello@complisync.io. Refunds are not available for subsequent billing cycles.
3.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until that date.
Section 04
Acceptable Use
4.1 Permitted Uses
You may use CompliSync solely for its intended purpose of synchronizing data between your authorized Jira, Google Sheets, and Monday.com accounts for your internal business operations.
4.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to process data in violation of applicable law, including unauthorized processing of personal data
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of CompliSync
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without our written consent
- Use the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or Connected Platform accounts of other users
- Use the Service to violate the terms of service of any Connected Platform
Section 05
Customer Data and Privacy
5.1 Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to your Customer Data. CompliSync does not claim any ownership interest in your Customer Data.
5.2 License to Process
By using the Service, you grant CompliSync a limited, non-exclusive license to access, process, and transmit your Customer Data solely as necessary to provide the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to connect your third-party accounts to CompliSync
- The accuracy and legality of all Customer Data processed through the Service
- Configuring CompliSync appropriately for your compliance requirements, including designating PHI columns
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your API tokens and account credentials
5.4 HIPAA and Healthcare Data
Customers subject to HIPAA who intend to process Protected Health Information through the Service must execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with CompliSync prior to processing any PHI.
Processing PHI without a BAA is a material breach of these Terms. Contact
hello@complisync.io with "BAA Request" in the subject line.
Section 06
Third-Party Integrations
CompliSync integrates with Jira, Google Sheets, and Monday.com. You acknowledge that:
- Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective terms of service
- CompliSync is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for Atlassian, Google, or Monday.com
- Changes to the APIs or terms of Connected Platforms may affect the functionality of the Service
- CompliSync is not liable for any disruption caused by changes to third-party platforms
Section 07
Service Availability and Support
7.1 Availability
CompliSync will use commercially reasonable efforts to make the Service available. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
7.2 Support
- All plans: Email support at hello@complisync.io with response within 3 business days
- Compliance tier: Priority email support with response within 1 business day

Intellectual Property
CompliSync and all related technology, software, content, and documentation are and remain the exclusive property of CompliSync. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the Service other than the limited license to use it as described herein.
"CompliSync" and related marks are trademarks of CompliSync. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
Section 09
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. COMPLISYNC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
COMPLISYNC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN COMPLIANCE WITH ANY LAW, REGULATION, OR INDUSTRY STANDARD, INCLUDING HIPAA. CUSTOMERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THEIR OWN COMPLIANCE.
Section 10
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPLISYNC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL COMPLISYNC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).
Section 11
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CompliSync and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- Your Customer Data, including any claim that it violates applicable law
- Your violation of any third party's rights
- Your failure to comply with applicable laws including HIPAA
Section 12
Termination
12.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from the dashboard.
12.2 By CompliSync
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you breach any provision of these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or use the Service in a way that creates legal liability for CompliSync.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We will delete your Customer Data within 30 days of termination unless we are required by law to retain it. You may request an export of your data before account deletion.
Section 13
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Section 14
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of material changes by email and on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
